I'm an avid outdoor cookilng fan and I don't stop until the snow and ice drive me inside. One of my absolute favorite things to prepare outdoors are these slow-cooked, deliciously smoked BBQ ribs. Now, I must say, preparing these ribs is a project that's not to be rushed but enjoyed over the course of an afternoon along with the company of good friends, pleasant conversation and the appropriate liquid refreshment. While there is nothing like eating these tasty slabs right off the grill, they also make great tailgate food and can be easily re-warmed in the parking lot. My thanks to Ray Lampe, otherwise known as Dr. BBQ, for publishing this in his book "Dr. BBQ's Big-Time Barbeque Cookbook". You'll find a link to his book on Amazon and a downloadable PDF of the recipe here.
