A Helpful Tip When Drilling into Ceramic Tile

If you've ever tried to drill into ceramic tile, you know how frustrating it can be when the drill skates around the surface of the tile. Ron offers a great tip to keep that from happening.

Ron placed a spring-loaded center punch on the tile where he wanted to drill his hole. He pushed down on the punch and then released it.

He then placed the tip of the carbide-drill in that little dimple that the center punch had left behind. Then he drilled his hole.

The result was a clean hole, exactly where Ron wanted it.
